100-Yard Military Rifle Competition

ELIGIBILITY-

The match is open to SCCSFA members only. Youths under the age of 18 who are children or legal wards of a member may also participate. The member parent/guardian must be present for the entire time.. A maximum of 18 members will be permitted to sign up. All participants must have waivers on file.

THE GAME-

This is a 100 yd. shooting challenge using military style rifles such as AR15, AK, SKS, FAL etc. The object is to shoot the highest score possible. Any non-magnified sights may be used.

THE TARGET -  SR-1C

THE PROCEDURE -

Each shooter shall mount 2 targets on the backboard.

THE SETUP -

From a bench rest (limited to bipods and bags) each shooter, with 10 rounds of ammunition, begins by shooting his first target The shooter has a 5-minute time limit to complete his round, The clock starts with the “Commence Fire” command. After shooting the first round, shooters will switch to a standing off-hand position and will be given 5 minutes to shoot their second targets.

THE SCORE -

The score is totaled from each shooter’s 2 targets. This is a “fun match” with no material prizes.
