Instructor Bio:

I've been involved in Emergency Services for 19 years starting as a volunteer firefighter in Spring City and obtaining an EMT certification in 2005. I attended the Reading Hospital School of Health Sciences graduating in 2014 after completing their Paramedic program. My full-time position is with Good Fellowship Ambulance in West Chester where I'm an Assistant Chief as well as serve as the Lead Tactical Medic for the West Chester Regional Emergency Response Team (aka SWAT). Additionally I'm an EMS Supervisor and Public Information Officer with Royersford Fire Department/Friendship Ambulance in Montgomery County. In addition to being a Stop the Bleed instructor I also hold instructor privileges for the Pennsylvania Department of Health, American Safety & Health Institute (ASHI), and Advanced Law Enforcement Rapid Response Training (ALERRT) for the Civilian Response to Causality Care (CRCC) & First Medical Medical (FRM) focusing on the response to active threat events.

Attached are two posters outlining the basics of the Stop the Bleed program.
The Stop the Bleed course is an approved course with content validated by the following agencies:
The American College of Surgeons Committee on Trauma
The American College of Emergency Physicians
The National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians
The Committee on Tactical Combat Casualty Care
During the course we cover a short lecture potion followed by hands-on practical time focusing on wound packing and tourniquet application. In total the course will run approximately 60-90 minutes based on questions and involvement with the practical sessions. At the end of the course each participant will receive a certificate of completion.

Feel free to reach out to me if you require anything further prior to presenting this to the board. My contact information is below.
