NRA 3 Gun Experience

****Proceeds of the NRA 3 Gun Experience are being used to purchase steel targets for the club so we can continue to host our own shooting events****

SCCS&FA is proud to present a fun, exhilarating, and physical activity to expose new and intermediate shooters to the fastest growing action shooting sport in the world,
3 Gun. This is a safe, family fun, mildly competitive, recreational event. Utilizing modern sporting .22 rifles, .22 pistols and shotguns, this activity is designed to fully equip each participant with the same firearms, to give them a level playing field.

Ammunition and the use of all firearms is included in the registration fee. No ammunition or firearms are required to participate in this event. The 12ga shotgun will be standard for this event, but 20ga is available to women and junior shooters if desired (select gauge on the registration page). Juniors must be able to safely handle firearms with limited direction and must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Ear and eye protection is required at all times. Loaners are available if needed.

This event will be split into hourly time slots to avoid unnecessary delays. Each group will shoot the pistol, rifle, and shotgun stages multiple times. If you have a larger group of shooters and can’t find a time
slot to fit, please contact the event organizer.

*** There are only 75 shooting slots available, so register early.***

PLEASE ARRIVE 20 MINUTES PRIOR TO REGISTERED START TIME FOR SAFETY BRIEFING.

Sunday 3/30 match rescheduled

Given the heavy rains and potential flooding that are expected to continue through tomorrow, we will be postponing  tomorrow’s scheduled blackpowder match.

Sorry for the late notice, I had hoped that we might catch a break and the rain would diminish but the latest weather report is claiming otherwise.

The Smokin’ Spring Thing will be rescheduled. New date to be determined. Tentatively scheduled for April 27th.
